Vusi’s Farm comprises an 11.5-hectare, state-of-the-art, fully climate-controlled growing facility. A 3 000 square meter facility is used to grow the strawberry plants. This world-class facility is located in the Merafong district West of Johannesburg, near Carletonville.

The farm comprises 11.5 hectares of plastic-covered Multispan greenhouse tunnels that are 136-m-long by 36-m-wide to grow the strawberries.

After the strawberries are picked, they are frozen and then packaged for immediate distribution. Vusi’s Farm’s frozen strawberries have had their freshness, quality and sweet flavour preserved.
