Vusi’s Farm comprises an 11.5-hectare, state-of-the-art, fully climate-controlled growing facility. A 3 000 square meter facility is used to grow the strawberry plants. This world-class facility is located in the Merafong district West of Johannesburg, near Carletonville. Vusi’s Farm boasts a high level of technical sophistication with the hydroponic growing process fully climate-controlled in sealed, covered greenhouses and the facility managed using leading-edge computer technology. Vusi's Farm aims to become the largest climatically-controlled strawberry producer in South Africa, and therefore, one of the largest greenhouse-based producers of strawberries in the country by 2023.
